In 1988 Victor & Nelida Solano started a local phenomenon that soon took the US by storm: Peruvian chicken! Victor Solano opened the country’s first Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurant, inspired by the local street vendors in his hometown of Trujillo, Peru.
