Full Job Description

Would you like to be part of a well-established, local, Peruvian chicken restaurant chain? El Pollo Rico is looking for kitchen staff to work in our counter-service environment. Tasks include:

  • Operating the register (cashier)
  • Cutting and serving chicken and sides (order prep)
  • Running the fryers, rice cookers, and preparing other food items in the kitchen (rear cook/fry cook)
  • Maintaining cleanliness of customer areas (restrooms, dining room, etc) (janitorial)

Additionally, staff working in the morning prep shift are responsible for:

  • Cleaning, cutting, and marinating chicken
  • Tying chicken to spits

Specific task assignments can vary from day-to-day at the discretion of the manager on duty. Kitchen staff are expected to perform any one of these tasks as directed.
